Choosing the Right Electric Radiator
With there being a huge choice of heating radiators for homes, it is not always easy to decide what best suits your needs. Of course, if you already have central heating radiators installed, then most likely all you need to do is just make sure that you have it tested and optimized before the cold of winter sets in. If you have a lot of older radiators hooked up to the central heating, you might want to consider replacing them, either all at once, or one by one. Old radiators use a lot more electricity than the newer, energy saving ones and just by replacing your old units you can sometimes save a lot on utility bills.
If all that you need is additional heating for rooms that are a bit chilly, or for new rooms you have added on recently, then the electric panel radiator is still a very good choice. They are easy to operate, and most new models come with thermostat controls and timers as well.

The timers make them a perfect choice for a bedroom, or for children’s bedrooms as you can set them to turn on a couple of hours before bedtime, so that when it comes time to climb into bed the room is nice and warm. If you want you can adjust the thermostat to have them running on low temperature through the night, or the timer can automatically turn them off after you have been in bed for a couple of hours.
This versatility makes them an idea choice for adding on more heating. They radiatorare also very quiet and modern heaters can blend in well with any décor.
Bathroom radiators are also great to install in bathrooms. Commonly referred to as the towel radiator, they can be used to warm or dry off a damp towel as you can drape the towels over them. They are also perfect for taking the chill off a cold bathroom, again great if you have a hard time getting your little ones to take showers during the cold of winter!
