Bathroom Sets or Individual Accessories?
Life would be great if we all had endless time to trek around local stores or browse every bathroom site online to find just the right objects to enhance our bathrooms, but unfortunately most of don’t and we have to leave that privilege to interior designers or those who can afford to employ them.
For the rest of us, there are bathroom sets. These are sets of coordinated items which have been put together (generally by a designer) so that you don’t have to worry whether your toothbrush holder goes with your soap dish.

Of course, there are disadvantages to using them too but they are very bathroom setconvenient for those of us who need a quick solution to decorating our bathrooms. In general, the sets are keenly priced too and you will save a bit (and sometimes a lot) of money over buying individual bathroom accessories. If you have no idea about color charts and wheels you can simply use a bathroom set to inject the needed color into your bathroom and be done with it.
So, what are the main problems with them?
The trouble is that these bathroom accessories sets can be almost too coordinated. To be fair, that is mainly the case if you buy too many items with the same design. If your waste paper bin, toilet roll holder, shower curtains, towels and soap dispenser all match maybe you have taken things too far but if you just have a soap dish and toothbrush holder on the side of the sink and a matching shower curtain you will be fine.
The other problem occurs with having to buy a whole set as you may find that there are some items that you will not use and that can be a waste of money. Even if the set works out cheaper than buying individual products, you will end up not being able to throw away the useless item and it will hang around gathering dust until you move house.
